  1. We send a complete Read-A-Thon kit with customized master forms to your school/agency. Forms will also be available electronically for the school/agency to customize directly.

Students are given kits to take home that include a reading list. We emphasize that there is no door-to-door solicitations. Students are only to speak to friends and family about Seeds of Learning Read-A-Thon.
  1. The students begin to read and collect pledges (per minute of reading or per book, depending on the age of the student and the school’s or agency’s preference.)
  1. Students read for the duration of the Read-A-Thon decided upon by the school/agency and Seeds of Learning.
  1. At the end of the reading period, students collect their pledges and return their kits and their money to their teacher/leader. Seeds of Learning accepts cash and checks or credit card. Alternatively, checks can be made out to the school/agency directly who will then make a lump payment to Seeds of Learning.
