Sebastian is from San Marcos, a small town south of Managua famous for its nice weather and international university. He first worked part time for SOL as a Work Group Assistant in 2013 and 2014. Before re-joining SOL in February 2018, Sebastian worked for Bridges to Community and the Biel-Bienne/San Marcos Sister Cities Project. He has spent most of his professional life working in areas related to social innovation, cross cultural education, human rights, and social entrepreneurship.
Sebastian holds a B.A in Business administration from Ave Maria University and a MSc. In Social Enterprise from University of Stirling. For his Master’s degree, Sebastian received a scholarship from UK’s Chevening program. He is now part of Chevening global scholars’ network which include leaders from over 120 countries around the world.
When he is not reading, he spends time playing soccer, visiting friends and “trying very hard not to be the worst painter in the world.”
