Cement mixer working like a dream, rain every day

By Casey Callais 10/14/2016 — We are moving right along on the super adobe school building project in El Jicarito. We finally located a cement mixer and, after some small repairs, are filling forms faster than we can put them up.
The project should be ready to start laying down the super adobe bags soon if the heavy rains we have been receiving lately will give us a break.
In other news from the Managua we are busy in the office and in the field working on our plan for projects next year. Looks like we have some good ones in the pipeline and we will tell you all about them when we make them official.
We are posting regular updates about the project as construction continues. In the meantime we are offering an amazing deal for people who are interested in this project. Donate to help buy whiteboards, desks, computers, etc. and receive Knitknot’s architectural plans, Precision Structural Engineering’s structural design (compliant with the 2012 International Building Code), Seeds of Learning’s complete construction report AND a 2-hour phone call with the Seeds of Learning team. This is ideal for anyone who is interested in building their own superadobe project and the money goes to cover school supplies and resources.
