Nicaragua Program

We’re offering volunteer Groups to Ciudad Darío, Nicaragua, in 2026.

Cost? $1,800 + airfare

This program offers a chance to deeply engage with a new culture, build meaningful connections with locals, and practice Spanish within the vibrant context of Nicaragua. Most of the trip will take place in Ciudad Darío town where SOL has worked for over 35 years to improve access to education. Participants will work closely SOL staff and Santa Clara community volunteers to help refurbish classrooms, repair school furnishings, and repaint the entire school infrastructure. Volunteers will also visit rural communities where SOL has ongoing programing, learn how to make tortillas, and more. At the end of the trip, volunteers will travel together to visit a beach.
